He was waiting for her, and she wasn’t sure whether she had expected that or not. All she knew was that her heart held up for a moment at the sight of him, leaning against the Lamborghini, arms crossed, eyes hidden behind mirrored sunglasses. There were women practically tripping over themselves to get a second look at him. And Tinsley longed to walk up to him and kiss him. She thought that would be appropriate. But he looked unapproachable behind his sunglasses. And he was frowning.
She stood in front of him for a moment, looked at him uncertainly. “You didn’t have to come,” she said, finally.
